Is is normal for my kitten's side/arm to be swollen?

She wasn’t eating so we took her to the vet. She received three shots: an antibiotic, an appetite stimulant and something for hydration. Now she walks funny and her left side is bulging under her arm.

The bulging is from the fluids the vet gave under her skin. It will gradually disappear. don’t worry.

You need to call your vet and see if she needs to be brought in for additional treatment. Clearly, bulging under her leg is not normal; she may need other medication, or cortisone to slow down the swelling, depending on the cause.

No, it is not normal. However, it probably isn’t urgent( that’s not saying it isn’t, but it is unlikely). Your kitten might have had an allergic reaction to the medicine. In this case, you need to see your vet soon. Or, it might just be a fluid build-up. In either case, I recommend seeing a good vet soon. She should be fine!
    Good Luck!

Uh oh, this may be an allergic reaction.
You should definitely call her vet about it; it might be something serious, even life-threatening.
Better to be safe, than to be sorry.
A veterinarian is the only one who can really diagnose this kind of thing.

You should call your Vet & tell him what’s going on. This is not normal. Maybe he’s having an allergic reation to the antibiotic, or one of the other shots she was given. Good luck.
