Let her live around you a few days & let her personality determine her name.

I had a female cat once and named her Missy. So, that I could call her little missy, but I personally think you should let her personality determine her name.

I have three female cats (well, two cats and a kitten). Bella is the oldest…my son wanted to name her "beautiful" but I convinced him it was prettier in Spanish. Faith is next, the shelter named her and I found the name prophetic since I had told my son that it might take some time to find a blue-eyed female Siamese kitten in a shelter and the he would just need to just have faith that we’d find her if we kept looking…and she was in the first cage we looked at on our first trip to the shelter! The most recent (adopted the week before Christmas) was named Ophelia by the shelter…we renamed her "spot" after Data’s cat in Star Trek TNG (a female orange tiger cat)…but that didn’t last long. It became apparent that Ophelia was a better name for her personality and now we call her Phe!

Feel free to borrow any of these…or pick something related to a personal interest…if you like opera, perhaps Desdemona (Dezi for short), or if you like Shakesphere you could go with Juliet…or a favorite author or character in a book? You could also try what we did with Bella…thing of an English phrase and translate it to another language. For example, if I recall correctly, the name "Schatze" means "little sweetheart" in German.

Oh, and Jasmine and Mai-Tai were the names of our Siamese cats when I was growing up…always thought they were pretty names!
