What causes a bacterial infection in a kitten?
I have a cat and it is four months. He is so cute! anyway I have since the local shelter and last week he started having diarrhea. I took him to the vet today and was given two antibiotics, who said he had a bad bacterial infection … actually has two different types of bacteria in the stomach. He loves drink water from the bowl and my dogs …. Do you think it was that way? what bothers me is that the veterinarian does can not say how he got something. Could the food I feed (blue )…. Buffalo I bought it on sale, as he was about expired (expiry date 23 August .)…. just want to know what causes this kind of thing.
It is natural for kittens to develop diarrhea after being taken to a new home. They become very stressful for them causes a proliferation of bacteria. The bacterium is not natural in the system. On the other hand, a sudden change of food can be produced from diarrhea. I'll stick to feed Blue Buffalo because it is a very good food. I would like to end the drug. Take a fecal test to make sure that growth has been more carefully to ensure that no worms.
